Rikett is a manufacturer rather than an installer: it makes Rikett Quartz Tile, a 24-inch tile that is about 70 percent natural quartz, and flooring contractors put it down. The company started in Bergen, Norway in 1952, and its US arm is based in City of Industry, California. For student housing floors, the factory polyurethane coating matters most to us, because the tile needs no wax or floor finish between tenants.
